Shelter from the Storm: Finding Solutions in Times of Uncertainty
The past decade has been one of unprecedented change and unpredictability in higher education. Shifting demographics, the COVID-19 pandemic, rapid technological development, and budgetary and administrative uncertainty are but a few of the challenges that colleges and universities have faced; and yet educators, almost by definition, find ways to adjust to changing circumstances. How can teachers, programs, and institutions rise to meet such daunting challenges?
Join us Saturday June 7, 2025 for a day of diverse discussion of this and other questions related to education with a global perspective in Japan and internationally.
Presentations will be on topics relevant to global higher education, including global competency, foreign language education, classroom diversity, cross-cultural communication, educational technology, foreign students, study abroad, CLIL, area studies, environmental education, or related issues.
